| Cajun Photography by April Courville Artist and photographer, April Courville, was born in Welch, Louisiana and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor's of Fine Art in Photography. April was influenced at a young age by the surreal landscape of southwest Louisiana, also know as Acadiana. She moved to the Twin Cities in 2007 and has since opened her own photography business, Camera Obscura Imaging. Realizing the unique culture and people of Cajun Country, April returns to Acadiana annually to photograph the lifestyle, architecture, and the culture of the Cajun People. April has shown previous works in locations such as Acadiana Center for the Arts and Artmosphere Bistro; Acadiana Center for the Arts and Artmosphere Bistro; Both in Lafayette, Louisiana April's Photography is on display and for sale at Cajun Potluck. |
